- nodex-alex 8y agoopinion fueled by Wordpress fanboys who need to justify the system for their own end goals one of whcih is making endless streams of money by stealing thier clients money by giving them a substandrd product. The other being that admiting the system is NOT the answer to EVERY website need would expose their incompetence to the world and likely draw into question their chosen career path. It may well power ~30% of the internet, I'd argue that most likely 10% of that are websites that don't even matter such as malware hosts etc but even if you agree that all 30% is meaningful anybody can walk into most rooms of 100 people and find ~30 of them that don't actually have a clue what they're doing so the stat actually means nothing.
