Enough people on this thread disagree with you that I think it's safe to say that there is no "right" method, just one that most (but not all) prefer. What's wrong with actually giving people a choice? "Would you like critical medical news delivered to you [x] Through teleconference (faster) [ ] In-person (depends on doctor's availability)"
