Zig Ziglar's books on sales are really great and can have fast effect, it made the difference for me back in the days I was 22 or so and had to wardrive by foot to get work done for customers that would pay me very few or not at all - to the point i had to choose between paying for child food or the internet bill. I highly recommend Zig Ziglar books on sales and Dale Carnergie's book "how to win friends" which should indeed probably be the first one to read for anybody - despite the phony title that will put most people off.
