This is really sad. Since Erlang is both a practical and simple, elegant language. I always believe if Sun and Ericsson swap their languages back to 90s, say Sun have Erlang and Ericsson have Java the world would be totally different. I'm pretty sure Java guys struggled quite some years for distributed Web development. Thread and lock were all the things most of them know.
