I dislike most competitive programming sites as a hiring method, but Triplebyte works more like a recruiting firm. They do their own phone interviews that cover a large breadth of programming topics including a number of things that are often missing from whiteboard interviews, such as parallel programming. Out of the many times I've been interviewed my Triplebyte interview is in the top 3 that best represented my skills.
