Manning is also someone that has information about a criminal proceeding and is refusing to cooperate. That Manning was previously convicted and served (significantly commuted) time for committing espionage is irrelevant to the charges of contempt of court.
- curiousjorge 8y agoshe is obviously struggling under immense pressure but doesn't change the fact that she deviated from given mission payed by the American tax payer. Why is it suddenly wrong to state reality as is? She was an employee of the US military, and therefore liable for any damage she incurs to her employer, surely this is a matter of ethics (HN seems to have a really fucked up moral compass in general) that most people can see why it would morally reprehensible.
