I am a little suprised that toki pona ("language of good", https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toki_Pona https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toki_Pona) is not mentioned. It is a language that consists of about 125 words, which aims to make you think about describing complicated subjects. To give an example: The concept "friend" could both be described as "good man" or "man good to me" depending on whether you think your friend is intrinsically good.
Admittedly, the original question is specifically about the English language, but toki pona is a nice experiment related to this.
