- eropple 8y agoProfoundly, yes. Downtown Boston was a dismal place when I was a kid. It was dark. The overheads sucked so, so hard. I've worked downtown for years now and it's a pleasant place to be.

Everything green here was once under a highway. It completelpely changed a major portion of the city and opened up routes for other parts of the city to become more developed.
