In my experience, pretty much every start up is hiring provided you're qualified and passionate enough. By their very nature, start ups can't possibly list things like expected salary or equity because those heavily dependent on what you yourself bring to the table. If you'd like a place to start when looking for start ups you'd be interested in, http://www.crunchbase.com/companies http://www.crunchbase.com/companies might be a good place to start.
In the words of Paul Bucheit (from his talk at Startup School 08), "I've never really had any problems figuring out what to do with more really great people... because they can usually just take care of themselves."
- wave 18y agoIf you want to work for companies that have been funded, most of the venture capitalists have job listing in their websites: http://news.ycombinator.com/jobs http://news.ycombinator.com/jobs (you already know this) http://jobs.sequoiacap.com/ http://jobs.sequoiacap.com/ http://www.ventureloop.com/kpcb/careers_home.php http://www.ventureloop.com/kpcb/careers_home.php
- LeeCasey 18y agoby far, http://www.HotStartupJobs.com/ http://www.HotStartupJobs.com/ is probably the best aggregator - everything is on one page. No need to navigate all over the place to search
- Mark009 18y agoLee, I agreed. I just tried the search, which they call it SCAN, it just highlights all the related keywords.
- lisa_watts 18y agoyeah, having it all on 1 page really makes thing easier and less confusing - it auto refreshes, which is a simple feature - but super useful
- ecommercematt 18y agoThere are 2 comments praising the site you link to, both from user names created at the exact same time as your own. Coincidence?

- nathanL 18y agoproblem with these VC's job post is that they don't have RSS to it, hard to follow them - I like aggregator - convenience and all in one area
- lisa_watts 18y agoNathan, I agreed with you. This is another reason why I go to aggregated sites, instead of individual. Otherwise, I would mind as well go directly to the company's website instead.
- Jenell 18y agoOf all the sites listed above, I think http://www.hotstartupjobs.com http://www.hotstartupjobs.com is probably the best in term of page layout - I see everything on one page.
