- markehammons 8y agoThanks. I've recorded it. Looking at TinyWL's source has also answered a question I had in implementing part 3 (where does xdg-shell-unstable-v6-protocol.h come from?), so now I have my project automatically generating that with wayland-scanner. One question while I have your attention. I've made this implementation based on wayland 0.3 so it's got some different API calls in some cases than your original tutorial (for example: "wlr_render_with_matrix" -> "wlr_render_texture_with_matrix"). I haven't been able to get gnome-terminal working with my version, but I have been able to get weston-terminal working. Is this because the xdg-shell-unstable-v6-protocol has changed? Or have I done something wrong?
- Sir_Cmpwn 8y agoxdg-shell v6 is thankfully almost obsolete. Try setting up xdg-shell stable instead - the wlroots interface is almost the same
