Land taxes are the best for that. They are impossible to avoid, very easy and predictable to levvy, and are way more representational, fair and non-distortive taxes.
- tracker1 8y agoI'm also not a fan of property taxes for individuals... It may be impractical, but if someone is able to live on their own, purchased land with no interaction with the outside world, they shouldn't be at risk of losing property for simply continuing to live.
- conanbatt 8y agoThere is no land without interaction with the outside world. Land with no interaction is land to be claimed by any military in the world.
