You wouldn't say something is free to watch for Netflix customers would you? The service is what you're paying for. Using the word free at all seems wrong here, and I am a native speaker.
- intopieces 8y agoThat's because you can't pay for individual movies on Netflix and keep them as a perpetual license. You can, on Amazon, so it makes sense here to say, "On Amazon Prime for free" as opposed to "You can purchase a perpetual license to download or stream the movie on Amazon or iTunes."
