Basically, a continuation on the human experimentation that facebook has been allowed to get away with as long as I can remember. People have gotten so used to Facebook changing the news feed on a whim to try to change human behavior and interaction on the site, that we don't think of it as what it is. Basically, I believe that a curated feed that isn't completely controlled by end-user rules will be declared illegal at some point in the near future.
