I wonder how the IRC bridge works with regards to threading. Does it merge multiple consecutive messages from a single user into a single Zulip message? Are all replies from a channel just a never ending thread that goes on and on forever? I might have to try it to find out.

I believe it's the second :). (All replies from a channel go into a never ending thread that goes on forever.)
