Says the company that runs on the Bloomberg Terminal.
- smhenderson 8y agoI've never seen one but I've read that they're actually quite user friendly and provide a wealth of information. Was what I read over rated? Any examples of why they're not so great?

- mruts 8y agoThe bloomberg terminal is pretty awesome. It's written in several different languages though, so maybe that's the GP's problem?
- tsmarsh 8y agoThey are, but they're basically 80s/90s technology. I work in emacs with lisps (mostly clojure) on x86, usually via a terminal emulator. Old tech is stable, fast and cheap. I know that, you know that, Bloomberg make their billions off of it... but they're calling out Cities for it. Just weird.
