I've found that flexbox is even more flexible (no pun intended) for making grids.
- franey 8y agoOne of the things I like most about CSS grid is being able to rearrange template areas for responsive design. Using flexbox inside a grid template area gives us the best of both worlds.
- tmikaeld 8y agoAah, I hadn't tested grid since it was introduced - yeah, it's definitely the best of both! I wish the support was higher than 87% though, but it's certainly coming :-)
- manigandham 8y agoFlexbox is designed for a single axis with optional wrapping. Grid is designed for 2-axis control. If you don't need that then flexbox will usually be faster and easier.
