High-quality people (as defined by you) still might not have common areas of interests and hence the question still stands:
"What will actually be talked/presented/discussed in the meetup?"
- speedplane 8y agoIf the attendees at a conference are high quality, the conference itself will be high quality, there doesn't need to be a heavy overlap of specific interests. If a HN meetup could someway or another uphold that level of quality, it could be a great conference even if the topics are as varied as deep learning - to web frameworks - startup culture - to UBI economics.
