I would argue that most of modern engineering originates in USA, with possible exception of automotive industry :)
- solidsnack9000 8y agoMuch of it has found a home here but it definitely didn't all originate here.
- ams6110 8y agoUS automakers have pretty much switched over to metric fasteners for years. My 15-year-old Ford is all metric. They sell their cars all over the world.
