When I finally decided to make https://officesnapshots.com https://officesnapshots.com be my priority, I found work through a temp agency for a while which came with some interesting experiences.
One memorable placement was in the shipping department of company which sold tooth whitening kits to dentists. Another was as an office manager at a cremation company sales office.
I actually enjoyed temping for the most part since I was able to build various skills I didn’t have before and try out different roles in companies.
- tixocloud 8y agoUnrelated to OP's topic but I really enjoy OfficeSnapshots and it's incredible to see how far it's come since the early days. Congratulations! Was there sort of a pivotal moment where you felt OfficeSnapshots was going to be viable? Did it happen organically or did you have to push hard for it?
- stevesearer 8y agoThanks! I guess I’d say it was pretty organic. When I started it there was no intention of it being a business and it took a while to even think about it that way.
- tixocloud 8y agoIt certainly felt that way. Did design firms eventually ask whether they could showcase their work on your site?
