Pharmacies are protected by HIPAA. Cold drink purchases are not. Regulation is absolutely appropriate for the former, not for the latter.

Pharmacies are protected by HIPAA. Cold drink purchases are not. Regulation is absolutely appropriate for the former, not for the latter.
- chrismeller 8y agoThe example here was the morning after pill, which is over the counter and therefore also not protected by any of the provisions of HIPAA (it only covers prescription drugs).
