Least he deserves for creating literally thousands of jobs.
- neural_thing 8y agoDoes Elizabeth Holmes deserve credit for creating jobs? All Tesla has done so far is burn capital. It's not that hard to do, all you need is to convince people to give you money. Tesla has never had a profitable year. Not sure how much credit that warrants.
- DeonPenny 8y agoIt's had two highly profitable quarters and hasn't raised in ages. It's extremely hard to do that. Thats like saying amazon was worthless until 2015 which is crazy.
- AlexandrB 8y agoSo the reward for creating thousands of jobs is being above the law? Part of the settlement with the SEC was that Tesla's legal department would review his Tweets. If he was not happy with those terms he should not have agreed to them. He was only able to create thousands of jobs because he lives in a society that safeguards Tesla's intellectual and physical property as well as providing many incentives for innovation. Yet when basic ethics in investor relations is asked of him that's too much of a burden to bear.
