While this is a perfectly logical statement, there's absolutelty no chance it would reduce the cost of public services in reality. We don't fire government work

While this is a perfectly logical statement, there's absolutelty no chance it would reduce the cost of public services in reality. We don't fire government workers, they just get new titles / department names. If anything the public service costs would increase as new oversight commities and other completely useless entities were created to manage the migration from our current system.
