- dawnerd 8y agoI fly when it's cheaper (not counting my time). If I can find flights ~100-150/rt then that's a possible solution, but adding a rental car + parking at airport often makes it just cheaper to drive. And besides, I enjoy it. Per DOT rules, truckers here are allowed up to 8 hours non stop, with a mandatory 30 minute break if they go over.
