The fact that C++ versioning uses two digits for the year is the most 1980s thing about it.
- cpeterso 8y agoIf C++ continues to release a new version every 3 years, 2098 will be C++98 again. So either the language designers don't think C++ will survive to 2098 or they will need to change their versioning.
