In tandem we should start thinking of economic systems more capable of investing in such platforms. We’ve more or less tried both extremes of public vs private owners of capital. Could we try a commons based economy next? I mean, at least developers, seems capable of producing massive wealth in a decentralized fashion more or less motivated by the public good (or aligned interests) as open source, with very limited capital assets. What if we could make more capital available to that part of the economy?
