But aren't there numerous situations in which it is rather dark and one might want to spend some time reading? Like at a bus stop in the evening, long distance buses, during flights, while one has difficulties to sleep next to a partner. I struggle to see how stopping to read in dark environments altogether is a serious proposal to the problem.
