I think that is a brittle and somewhat superficial definition of censorship.
Here is the Oxford dictionary definition:
> The suppression or prohibition of any parts of books, films, news, etc. that are considered obscene, politically unacceptable, or a threat to security
Note there is nothing there about "rights".
