Ask HN: How to Do REST Server Integration Test

How do you do REST server integration test? I'm thinking of using puppeteer, but scripting puppeteer is a lot of work, I want to have some gui based tool that I can define endpoints easily and test steps easily. For example, I can define endpoints /api/login and /api/loadData, and then I want to test a scenario of calling /api/login then calling /api/loadData . Another reason I don't want to use puppeteer is that I want to purposefully test some negative cases, like malicious user inputs, that won't be triggered by the ui. What the most popular way to do this test?
