My spouse worked at a ~150 headcount (c round funding) tech startup and hated it. She now works for a massive revenue, mid-size firm and ... mostly hates it. At one time in my life, I worked for a company that would have been considered a tech giant of its time (one of the 100 most profitable firms in the US at the time), and it was OK-ish. My opinion is that I would do it, if I had the opportunity to do it. If you can afford to take the chance now, then consider taking the chance now. You never know if you will be able to do it in the future.
