What exactly is the meat of the criticism above?
- porpoisely 8y agoI'll say it again. Foreign born != H-1B visa. Like I said, most of the foreign born workers in silicon valley are people who immigrated to the US as children. You used to lie about Jerry Yang and Sergei Brin being H-1B visa holders. Both Jerry Yang, Sergei Brin and most of the foreign born tech workers immigrated to the US as children with their families. They became US citizens before they started yahoo or google. Once again, stop intentionally conflating H-1B visas with foreign born american citizens. Two different things.
- theshadowmonkey 8y agoA lot of foreign born workers are not H1B because they got their green cards or citizenship. I'd safely say a majority of them were H1Bs till recently. Till 2008, getting a green card for any country was not a problem. It has gotten a lot worse since then.
