By SV, I meant Silicon Valley. If you work for a big company for many years and you do well, you basically guarantee that you'll have a couple million dollars by the time you're 40. Similarly with finance, law, medicine. There are many high paying jobs that guarantee you to have a very comfortable life. Entrepreneurs have the opposite. Sure you could be worth 100s of millions but most likely you will lose your money. Or work twice as hard to provide yourself half the salary.
