I use the cheapest Philips Wake-Up lamp and it works great for me (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F0W1RIW/ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F0W1RIW/). The down side is that the alarm is crappy so I drilled out the piezo speaker with a small drill bit.
