Yesterday there was an article on HN about audio glitches on Macs, https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19196354 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19196354, with comments (including mine) about Apple products going down hill. I think this idea is a glaring example of how Apple has lost their way. They are exploiting a market - Apps - instead of adding value and building good products. I seem to remember Microsoft do exactly this same kind of thing as they were on their downward trajectory?
