The Alarming Scope of the President's Emergency Powers
- gscott 8y agoI somewhat knew the United States was in some sort of state of emergency giving the President broad powers but only recently learned we are in a state of 31 emergencies dating back decades giving the President broad powers. There should be a time limit on these emergencies. It appears Presidents sign off on them every year extending them forever.
