These days that multiple is more than 1000, and increases by 1000x in various bribe jobs. Heck your ordinary junior engineers and other mid level cops in bribe facing government jobs are double digit crorepatis these days. And I'm only talking of the low end corruption. The high end goes really high. The reason corruption exists is because people want to be corrupt and there are people who pay.
