I love Emacs, but I think a bit of dyslexia or association crept in, since I read it as "Ruining Your Life with Emacs"! I am always in Emacs at some point, but I am now using 4coder [1] a lot due to moving back a lot to C, and I love the sparseness of it. You can code it in C/C++ too.
