Usually the first sentence of the contract will describe the parties signing it. “This agreement is between Acme, Inc (the Company) and Kevin Burke (Consultant)” is bad. The agreement should be between Acme Inc and whatever the registered name of your company is. Similarly on the signature line you sign as an agent of the company (CEO, Sole Member etc) the same way your counterparty signs it.
