Indeed, what a brave New world. People do not forget abuse on such a level, and collective trauma does not go away overnight. I am sure there will be more sadness in the future, when people will discuss effects of the repressive policies on the Uigurs.

Reminds me of the United State's lockdown of Middle Easterners, and the surveillance police state that got legally empowered by post-9/11 doctrine.

Could ye please quit censoring non harassing, relevant and sorely lacking opinion? Throwaway account because I'm originally from China. This Chinese government is pure evil. No one should be doing any sort of business with them, period. If you have a choice, don't buy Chinese goods. If you have a choice, don't partner with Chinese government. If you have a choice, leave China. I've seen first hand how gruesome some of the actions the government levies against its citizens. If you think these don't concern you, just think what would happen if this government were to expand more of its footprint on the world. Look into your morality and conscience. Don't do business with China.
