If you have the ability to set the doctype of a page, don't you also already have the ability to not load thirdparty content?
- ZiiS 8y agoThe point is to allow the User Agent to display an icon meaning "This page says it dosnt need third party media so will be prevented from loading any"
- krapp 8y agoThat seems like a silly reason to have a restricted subset of HTML. Just show that icon on existing HTML pages which don't include third party content.
