A lot of people on here are talking about radio control drones, and there's a huge difference between unmanned and autonomous, both in terms of difficulty of execution (exception: landmines) and moral responsibility. A radio control drone bomb is equivalent to a gun with a really long range. An autonomous drone bomb is equivalent to a gun with a motion detector. It's not about the power of the weapon, it's about the relinquishing of human control and accountability. This is why landmines are so evil, and why they are also trying to ban lethal autonomous robots. It's not about capability of killing at a distance, it's about who pulls the trigger.
