What is the big difference between ARM RISC chips and RISC-V?
- mereel 8y agoRISC-V is an open ISA created by these guys: https://riscv.org/ https://riscv.org/. ARM RISC chips are ARM IP and not open. There's a lot more to unpack there, but that's the gist of it.
- iagovar 8y agoWill we see general purpose risc v's? I mean, as a substitute for ARM for example
- spacenick88 8y agoThat's the idea yes
