Products in production environments aren't relying on Bash that much anymore. Nowhere near how they depend on SQL databases.
- whynotminot 8y agoI've never worked on a product of any kind where I didn't have to have solid command line knowledge to truly trouble shoot an issue. Especially in production, and especially if you don't necessarily have perfect control over the environments you're deploying to.
- ehnto 8y agoI have never seen a production environment not use bash for part of the deploy process, if not all of it. I have seen a lot of prod environments.
