- ziont 8y agomy point was not that china hasn't done fabulously, the jingoism, the optimism, it's like deja vu but with different face. Up until 1989 there were Hollywood films depicting a Japanese car factory with American staff, forget the name tho, lots of businessmen of this era like Larry Ellison, the billionaire weeaboo, built up a weird fetish for anything Japanese.
