I would strongly recommend against using any OpenVZ VMs. You're forced to use the same kernel as the VM host and if you want to enable any kernel modules (e.g. TUN, TAP) your host needs to do it.
Go with Xen or KVM and avoid all that.
- phjesusthatguy3 8y agoI appreciate your concern but I've been doing this for years and it works for me. I have been looking at my options for when it doesn't, though.
