Burned out six months into my first post college job. Not as dramatic as some of the other failures here. Just stopped showing up, and refused to leave my room for a week. Eventually got up the nerve to call them and explain what happened. They were willing to take me back but I realized it'd likely happen again if I continued. So I changed fields inside tech, from IT support/sysadmin to web development. On the job hunt right now so still not sure if it was the right choice. I have been enjoying learning it significantly more than the sysadmin stuff.
