- cryptoz 16y agoYeah, that was disappointing. With Chrome OS being released this month (or next?) I was fully expecting some real articles on products running it, or at least final details. I know the source is open and I've checked it out a few times, but reading c++ doesn't give the kind of high-level overview that I'd like to hear from Google about their plans.
- pavs 16y agoIts not going to look radically different from these screenshots: http://dev.chromium.org/user-experience http://dev.chromium.org/user-experience You can also download and install recent ISO of Chrome (not official, but its for people who doesn't want to build it themselves) http://chromeos.hexxeh.net/ http://chromeos.hexxeh.net/
- cryptoz 16y agoYeah. I'm much more interesting in seeing the actual, physical products that will run it. Will there be 20 different netbook models? Or none? Will they all be tablets? How big will the screens be? How fast are the processors? How cheap? How user friendly will the whole experience be? These questions can't be answered by screenshots or downloading a build. We just have to wait for official words from Google / the manufacturers.
