That's really cool and interesting. There may be a deeper meaning to what you saw but it would be a rather surprising result if there was conscious awareness of these structures since there does not appear to be any mechanisms for that.
- mirekrusin 8y agoTrue, but it's not impossible, ie. sense of sight has some planar projection, taking psychedelics may be skewing perception plane so you're able to pick some patterns from this twisted cross section.

- phkahler 8y agoI've had glimpses of internal representations. It's hard to explain, and it seems to imply that either one part of the brain is observing another, or there is some form of recurrence at play. No hexagonal grids though.
