I recently switched from lastpass to locally kept keepass passwords database and I am using https://keepassxc.org/ https://keepassxc.org/ client as it supports many operating systems. It's not as comfortable as lastpass but it gives me a control of where do I store that data, how do I keep backups etc. I can't really recommend that setup, I am keep experimenting myself.
