This is why I'm so bullish on clojurescript! The 'type system' is called spec - so the idea is that you can move fast but once you know some invariants you'd like to keep you can put them in the specification. Having the spec as your type system maintains sanity and gives programmers that are new to the code a high level overview. It just makes so much sense, really feels like having & eating the typing cake.
