Why would Netflix want to maximize the time people are watching? It seems to me the ideal customer is one who pays the sub fee but never logs in.
- gggyyhh 8y agoIf people don’t find value they will eventually cancel. And Netflix isn’t like gym memberships, it’s very easy to cancel
- marcodave 8y agoit was mentioned in this topic as well, that a person watching a lot of Netflix shows would as well recommend Netflix to others, and thus generating more subscriptions.
